How to grant administrator or manager rights
To give an employee admin or manager rights, go to Company → Employees and click an employee's name. From there, change the Account Type field from Employee to Administrator or Manager. Then click Save.
What administrators can see and do
Admins have complete access to your RotaCloud account and its features. They can update billing information, manage Locations, and change global account settings alongside all the usual rota management features.
What managers can see and do
Managers only have access to the Locations you assign them to manage.
They have a number of optional permissions which you can set on an individual manager basis. These include:
- Managing the rotas page, including adding and editing shifts
- Handling shift swaps and unavailability requests
- Handling leave requests and adding leave to the rota
- Seeing employee salary information
