RotaCloud allows each individual user to set their own notification preferences. 

To do that, click the Cog icon -> Notifications. You'll see a list of options.

Simply tick the boxes for the notification types you want to receive for each event. From here you can also see all the mobile devices registered to your account, as well as customising how soon before your shift Reminders are sent out.

Rota updates

Tells you when new shifts have been added, or when your existing published shifts have been edited.

Open shifts available

Notifies you when new open shifts, that you are eligible to work, have been published.

Open shifts claimed

Informs you when an employee has claimed an open shift.

Leave requests

Notifies you of your staff’s requests for Leave for you to approve or deny.

Leave request replies

Alerts you when a Manager or Admin has approved/denied your Leave Request.

Swap/unavailability requests

Notifies you of your staff’s requests for Shift Swaps or Unavailability for you to approve or deny.

Swap/unavailability request replies

Alerts you when a Manager or Admin has approved/denied your Swap or Unavailability Request.

Requests from other employees

Notifies you that a colleague has requested that you swap a shift with them.

Employee accepts your invite

Informs you when a new user has used their invitation email to create a RotaCloud account.

Shift reminders

Reminds you when you have a shift starting soon. The length of the reminder can be customised using the drop-down menu below.

Clock in reminders

Instructs staff to clock in when they have not done so, the length of time after a missed clock in before this reminder is sent can be selected in your Settings page.

No clock in notifications

Alerts you when an employee you manage has missed their clock-in. The time left after the shift’s start time before informing you can be selected in your Settings page.
