If you need to edit an existing leave record, this can be easily done on your computer or the RotaCloud app. This is particularly handy if, for example, an employee has sickness which needs to be extended.
Editing leave on desktop
Leave can be edited by any Admin user or Manager user with the relevant permissions. The quickest way to edit leave is directly on the Rotas page. To do this, simply go to your Rotas page and click on an existing leave record.
You'll then see the leave modal pop-up on the right of your screen - select 'Edit' here.
You'll then see full details of the leave and can make any amendments you'd like (date, leave type, note etc.). Once done, simply click 'Confirm' at the top of your page.
Editing leave on the app
On the app, leave can be edited from the Rotas tab. Tap the Rotas tab and select the grid-view (using the grid icon in the top left). You can then scroll up/down and left/right to find the leave entry you'd like to amend.
Once you've found the leave, tap on it to bring up the leave modal and see full details of the leave entry. At the bottom of your screen, tap 'Edit'.
You can then make any changes you like and tap 'Update leave' when done.
