How to delete approved leave for your employees

If you are an Admin or Manager* level user, you are able to delete leave once it's been added or approved.

*Managers must have the correct permissions enabled in their profile.

Deleting leave on desktop

The quickest way to delete leave on desktop is directly on the Rotas page - click on the leave you'd like to delete and you'll see the leave modal appear on the right of your screen.

On the leave modal, click the rubbish bin icon in the top right to delete the leave.

You'll then see a pop-up asking you to confirm you'd like to delete the leave. Click 'OK' and, once done, it will be deleted from your account, no longer visible to your employee, added back to their allowance*, and they will receive an notification letting them know their leave has been removed**.

Deleting leave on the app

To delete leave through the app, use the Rotas tab on grid view to find the leave you'd like to remove and tap on it.

You'll then see a pop-up showing details of the leave. Tap the three dots in the top right corner of your screen and select 'Delete leave'.

You then just need to confirm you'd like to delete the leave. Once done, it will be deleted from your account, no longer visible to your employee, added back to their allowance*, and they will receive an notification letting them know their leave has been removed**.

*If Holiday or Public Holiday has been added - depending on account settings.

**Employees need to have notifications enabled to receive these.

If you are an employee-level user, you aren't able to delete approved leave - please speak with your manager for help with this.

If your leave is not yet actioned and showing as pending, you can cancel it. To learn more about this, click here.
