How do I edit or delete a Location?

Amending or permanently deleting a Location from your account

RotaCloud allows you to have as many Locations (rotas) as you like at no extra cost. Should you need to, you can change the name, timezone, address, clock in restrictions, or employees assigned to a Location.

Editing a Location

Editing a Location can be done by any Admin user on your account. To do this, go to your Company tab and select Locations. Here, you will see a list of all your Locations and can click on the one you'd like to amend.

On your selected Location, you can then change the name, address, timezone, clocking in restriction settings, and/or employees assigned to work there.

Once you've made your amendment, click 'Save' at the bottom of the page.

Deleting a Location

Deleting a Location will permanently delete all shifts associated with it.
​Please be sure you have backed up all data before deleting.

Deleting a Location can be done by an Admin user. To delete a Location, click your Company tab and select 'Locations'. You'll then see a list of all your Locations. Beside the name of each Location, you will see a red 'X' - click this to delete your Location. Please be aware this will delete all shifts and data associated with that Location.

You'll then just need to confirm the deletion by clicking 'OK' on the warning pop-up.

Each account must have at least one Location. If you only have one Location set up, you will not be able to delete it until another Location is created.
