RotaCloud allows you to set up a feed so all your shifts and leave show in your Google Calendar.

Getting your shift or leave calendar feed link on the app

You can access your calendar feed link either in the RotaCloud app or on desktop. To get this in the app, open the menu in the upper-right corner of your screen, and tap 'Calendar'. This should default to 'Shifts' or you can tap 'Leave'. Once you've selected what typeof feed you'd like, tap 'Create feed' to generate your link and can tap 'Copy feed' so it's ready to add to Google Calendar.

Getting your shift feed link on desktop

To get your shift link from a desktop, login and head to the Rotas page. Click the 'Tools' menu at the top of the page and select 'Calendar feed'.

You'll then see a pop-up window giving you information about how the calendar feed works - click 'Create Feed'.

If you are an Admin or Manager level user, or if you are assigned to work at multiple Locations, the next screen will allow you to select which shifts you'd like to feed into your calendar - just your shifts, all users' shifts, all Locations, or a specific Location. (As an employee, you can only feed your own shifts).

After you've made your selection, simply copy the link ready to add to your Google calendar.

Getting your leave feed link on desktop

Your leave feed can be accessed via the Leave tab on desktop. Navigate there and select 'Tools', at the top of the page, then 'Calendar Feed'.

If you're an Admin or Manager, you'll then be able to select if you'd like to feed just your leave or all leave (as an employee you will only be able to feed your own leave).

After you've made your selection, simply copy the link ready to add to your Google calendar.

Adding your link to your Google Calendar

To set up your feed with Google Calendar, you will need to use a desktop - open your Google Calendar and click the plus symbol to the left of the calendar view. Click 'From URL'.

Next, simply paste the link generated in the RotaCloud into the 'URL of calendar' section, and click 'Add Calendar'.

Once this has been done, your RotaCloud shifts or leave should now show in your Google calendar.
