The RotaCloud Academy is our all-in-one learning centre for RotaCloud. You can use it access videos and sign up for events, as well as creating an account to complete courses and download resources completely free of charge.
Is the Academy the same as RotaCloud?
The RotaCloud Academy is a separate platform to your regular RotaCloud account but is still owned and maintained by RotaCloud directly. You can access the Academy at academy.rotacloud.com.
Your RotaCloud account at app.rotacloud.com is where you would log in to manage your rota, leave, timesheets etc. as normal, and the RotaCloud Academy is where you would go to learn about how to use the system, sign up for webinars etc..
What can I do on the Academy?
Courses
The RotaCloud Academy allows you to take courses to learn more about using the system - these can be short, handy tips which last around 10-15 minutes, or our comprehensive all-in-one course which is a great training tool or on-boarding your new Admin and Manager users. As each course is completed, you can download a certificate of completion.
Video tutorials
For quick how-to guides to help get you started, we also have our 'Video tutorials' section. This covers the basics you need to begin your account set-up without going into the fine details covered in our courses.
Events
Keep up-to-date with our live upcoming events and sign up to take part. We run regular 'RotaTalk' sessions - these webinar sessions cover a specific topic or section of RotaCloud in detail and allow you to get involved by asking your questions. We also run occasional in-person events giving you a chance to learn about specific topics and interact with the team.
Resources
Download a number of different templates for things such as return to works, one-to-ones etc. - particularly handy as a starting point for smaller businesses.
Do I need a separate account?
Some features of the Academy can be accessed without setting up another account - these are 'Events' and 'Video tutorials'. In order to complete courses and download resources, you will need to set up an account separately on the RotaCloud Academy. This can be done very quickly and is completely free of charge.
