Shifts

You can export a live feed of your shifts into any iCalendar supported software (including Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Outlook) on the Rotas page.

Choose Tools → Calendar Feed.

A pop-up will display with a link that you can copy and paste directly into the supported software. The feed will automatically publish and update shifts from the rota on your calendar software.

You can choose a feed for just your own shifts (across all Locations), or a feed for all shifts in the system. Alternatively, you can select the name of a Location to show all shifts for that Location only.

Leave

You can also create a feed of your Leave, or — if you’re an Admin — all Leave on the system, for your chosen calendar software. On the Leave page, in the Tools menu, you’ll find the Calendar Feed tool.

In the same way as creating a feed for shifts, you can choose whether you want to create a feed for all Leave, or just your own, using the drop-down menu. The generated link will be shown to the right, for you to copy.

Mobile

The same Calendar Feeds can be generated on using the RotaCloud app. Open the menu in the upper-right corner, and tap 'Calendar Feed'. From here, you have the option to create the same calendar feeds in the app.

Select the type of feed you want to create, and the tap 'Create Link'. You can then tap 'Copy Link' to place the link on your device's clipboard, and paste into your calendar app or service.

Please note: The iCalendar feed can take up to 24 hours to synchronise with your rota and update your calendar with any changes.

Note: Published shifts will show up to 12 months ahead.
