Terminals are fixed clocking in panels which can be set up on tablets or iPads in the workplace.

Each employee is sent a unique PIN code by email, which they use to clock in and out using these terminals. You can also manually set an employee's PIN on their Employee Profile page:

Employees don't need to enter their email addresses or passwords to use the terminal.

Android

Using the terminal app on Android devices requires Android version 8 or above. The app is not supported on any Amazon Kindle Fire devices. Devices must have a front-facing camera to be compatible with the app.

Install the RotaCloud Terminal app from the Google Play Store

iPad

Using the terminal app on iPad requires an iPad 5 or later running iOS 13.0 or later. Device must have a front-facing camera to be compatible with the app.

Install the RotaCloud Terminal app from the App Store

Installation

1. Open the app by tapping the Terminal icon in your app list.
2. Sign into the app as an Admin or Manager.

3. Enter a name for your Terminal, and choose if you want to enable photo taking or not. If you enable photo taking, choose when in an employee's shift photos will be taken. Then hit 'Continue'.

4. Select the location where the terminal will sit on the map. If the Terminal is moved, and its internal GPS does not match this Location, then staff will not be able to clock in.

5. Tap 'Launch'.
