Terminals are fixed clocking in panels which can be set up on tablets or iPads in the workplace.

Each employee is sent a unique PIN code which they use to clock in and out using these terminals. Employees don't need to enter their email addresses or passwords to use the terminal.

Android

Using the terminal app on Android supports Android 4.4 'KitKat' or above, but Android 5.0 'Lollipop' or above is recommended. The app is not supported on any Amazon Kindle Fire devices. Devices must have a front-facing camera to be compatible with the app. If your Android device doesn't run Android 4.4 or above, or if you have an Amazon Kindle Fire tablet, see the 'Other' instructions below.

  1. Install the RotaCloud Terminal app from the Google Play Store
  2. Open the app by tapping the Terminal icon in your app list
  3. Sign into the app as an Admin or Manager
  4. On the Map screen, ensure that the black marker is centered on the location the terminal will be situated. The device's GPS location is shown by a blue marker for reference.
  5. Select the terminal you'd like to launch using the drop-down at the bottom of the screen. This drop-down also contains an option to create a new terminal.
  6. Tap Launch

iPad

Using the terminal app on iPad requires an iPad 4 or later running iOS 10 or later. Device must have a front-facing camera to be compatible with the app. If you have an older iPad, or if it isn't running iOS 9 or above, see the 'Other' instructions below.

  1. Install the RotaCloud Terminal app from the App Store
  2. Open the app by tapping the Terminal icon in your app grid
  3. Sign into the app as an Admin or Manager
  4. On the Map screen, ensure that the black marker is centered on the location the terminal will be situated. The device's GPS location is shown by a blue marker for reference.
  5. Select the terminal you'd like to launch using the drop-down at the bottom of the screen. This drop-down also contains an option to create a new terminal.
  6. Tap Launch
