To help with planning your shifts, RotaCloud allows you to see total hours and costs for each user, each day, and each week. If you are an Admin user, you'll be able to see hours and cost totals for all employees, if you're a Manager, you will need to have the relevant permissions to see these, and if you're an employee, you'll not see any costs but will see a total for your own hours.
Seeing totals on the Rotas page
The Rotas page allows you to see hour and cost totals for each user, this will show under their name. If you have entered weekly hours in the employee's profile, their scheduled hours will show in either green, if their rota meets these hours, black if they're scheduled below these hours, and red if they're above these hours.
Above your employees' names, you can see the week number and totals for the hours and costs for the week across all staff. You can also hover the 'Week summary' section to see a more detailed breakdown.
Across the top of the rota just below the date, you can see the daily totals for hours and costs.
*You can see these totals on the month-view of the rota too - you just need to click the '[month] summary' or day at the top of the rota instead of hovering.
Seeing rota totals on the Reports page
You can also see hours and cost totals using the Reports page - this also allows you to filter down results to custom dates, various Locations, Roles etc.. Some keys reports for this are Daily Totals, Monthly Totals, Employee Totals, Location Totals, and Role Totals.
