How do I add Time and Attendance to my plan?

How to enable clocking in and out and payroll reports on your account and the steps to set it up

RotaCloud's Time and Attendance package allows your staff to clock in and out of their shifts (or without shifts). This will then populate their own timesheet which you can review before using to run payroll reports.

Don't forget, each account also gets a free 30-day trial of Time and Attendance. If you haven't already used this, go to your Attendance tab and follow these setup steps.

Enabling Time and Attendance

Time and Attendance (or T&A) can be enabled by any Admin user on your RotaCloud account. To do this, simply click the cog icon on the top right corner of your screen to access your account settings and, from the menu on the left, select 'Billing'.

Scroll down slightly and, beside 'Add-ons', tick Time and Attendance to add this package onto your account.

To the right, at the top of your screen, you'll see a breakdown of your new price plan before you continue - if you'd like to go ahead and proceed with T&A, click 'Update subscription'.

If Time and Attendance is enabled partway through your billing period, you'll be charged a pro-rata amount for the cost of the upgrade - your initial charge will only be from the date T&A is enabled to your next scheduled billing date.

You'll receive an email making you aware of the additional cost, and payment will be processed the same way as your regular subscription payments (either by automated card payment or via invoice).

The amount your will be charged for Time and Attendance will be dependent on several different factors such as the number of employees you have, your payment plan, if you pay annually or monthly etc. however you will be able to see what the charge is before confirming your subscription. This will show on the right at the top of your page when adding the package (see screenshot above).
