If your employees clock in and out of their shifts, their timesheets can be approved by an Admin or Manager. Approving a timesheet acts as a checklist to show you have seen the clock in/out times and are happy with them. If you choose not to approve timesheets, you can still run payroll reports without this step.

Approving timesheets on desktop

Entries which haven't yet been approved will show highlighted in yellow. You can approve an individual timesheet entry by clicking the three dots at the end of the clock in/out row and selecting 'Approve', or, you can approve all records for the pay period using the 'Approve' button in the top right.

Once approved, the line will show in white - the employee will also see that their record has been approved.

Approving an individual record on the app

Entries which haven't yet been approved will show highlighted in yellow. To approve an individual record on the app, go to the Timesheets tab across the bottom of your screen. You can then use the dropdown at the top of the page to select the user you need.

Tap on the record you'd like to approve, then, tap the three dots in the top right of your screen.

Tap 'Approve attendance record' - the record will now be approved and will show in white. This will also show as approved for the employee.

Approving in bulk on the app

If you'd like to approve all unapproved attendance records for an employee for the entire pay period, go to the Timesheets tab across the bottom of your screen. You can then use the dropdown at the top of the page to select the user you need.

Near the bottom-left of your screen, tap 'Approve timesheets'.

All timesheets for this employee will now show in white for that pay period to show they are approved - the employee will also see that their record has been approved.
