The Rotas page allows you to track a history of shifts should you ever need to check on anything. You can also see shifts that have been deleted and your staff will be notified of these changes too.

Viewing shift history

You are able to view a full history of any changes made to a shift such as changes to times, Roles, employee, publishing/unpublishing etc.. To view this, go to Rotas and click on the shift you'd like to see a history of. On the pop-up shift box, click the three grey dots in corner and, from the list, select 'Shift history'.

You will then see a second pop-up listing the details of the original shift, any changes made, who performed them, and when.

Viewing deleted shifts

You are also able to see a history of deleted shifts and restore them if you like. To do this, click on the 'Tools' menu on the Rotas page and select 'See deleted shifts'.

Notifying employees of changes

When a change is made to a shift of an employee who can't edit that rota, they will receive a notification. This includes new shifts, new Open Shifts, changes to their existing shifts, and deletion of their shifts. To receive these, they will just need to ensure their 'Shift updates' notifications are enabled in their Notifications section.
