Square is an all-in-one POS system that lets your business accept payments, manage inventory and track sales. If you have a square account, you can integrate this with your RotaCloud account to automatically feed your actual revenue data into your labour forecasting section.
The Square integration and labour forecasting is part of our Pro package. If you don't already have this, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial by following the setup steps below and will see the option to start a trial.

What data feeds through
Once set up, your integration will feed your actual revenue figures from Square into RotaCloud.
This integration will happen once a day overnight feeding the previous day's actual revenue.
Past actual revenue data will also be sent through feeding up to the previous five years of revenue - this will come through in one month chunks with the full five years typically showing in RotaCloud within 48 hours.
Setting up your integration
To set up your integration, in your RotaCloud account, click the cog icon in the top right to access your settings. From the menu on the left, select 'Integrations' and the click 'Square' - if you don't already have Pro, you will then have the option to start your free trial.
Once on the Square page, click the blue 'Integrate' button.
You'll then be redirected to the Square login page to authenticate. After successful authentication, you'll be brought back to RotaCloud and will see your Square sites. These can then be mapped to your RotaCloud locations - beside the site name, select the RotaCloud location from the dropdown. (Only one Square site can be mapped to one RotaCloud location).
Once done, click 'Save' and your data will begin pulling through - the previous 30 days will pull through first (typically within a few minutes) allowing you to make use of RotaCloud's AI-powered forecasting right away.
Existing actual revenue figures in RotaCloud
If you have already entered actual revenue figures in RotaCloud, these will be overwritten once your integration is enabled.
If your accounts are unlinked again, the actual revenue figures which were originally entered in RotaCloud will show again.
