If you are required to clock in and out of your shifts, your employer may have set up a terminal for you to use. A terminal is a fixed clocking in/out device that will be set up at your workplace. You can clock in/out of this using a unique, four-digit PIN.

Using a terminal
Once your employer has set up a terminal, it will show a keypad ready for you to enter your PIN.
Type in your four-digit PIN and you'll be shown your upcoming shift. Tap the 'Clock In' option beneath the shift and your clock in time will be logged on your timesheet. When you go to log out, follow the same steps but instead tap 'Clock Out'.
Camera/photo-taking
Your employer may have enabled photo-taking for clocking in/out. This means the device will take a photo to confirm the identity of the person clocking in.
If this is enabled, after you have entered your PIN and tapped 'Clock In' or 'Clock Out', the camera on the device will turn on (you should see yourself in this) and will count down from three before taking a photo.
Your employer can check this on your timesheet should they need to.
